STATEMENT

I love color, gesture and expression with paint - those are the major forces behind my artistic practice and exploration. Surfaces don't matter as long as they support this adventurous exploration. The main artists who continue to inspire me throughout the years are: De Kooning, Rothko, Matisse, Mitchell, Krasner. I also work as an interaction designer and artist in media, holding an MFA in Design and Technology from The New School, Parsons School of Design in New York and a BFA in Advertising Design from Syracuse University, where I studied painting with Jerome Witkin.
